Natural flowers, like fashion, all have different textures, colors, looks, and of course, quality. When we think of flowers it is usually the flowers we buy at the store or local market to adorn our home or to serve as a gentle gift. This is why when clients ask me about my personal arrangements, the quality and variety of the flowers is not something that they often consider. I, however, choose to only work with high quality natural flowers for my fashion creations as there are many variables that go into making each individual piece, and most importantly, having it last. Below are detailed differences between cheaper flowers and expensive ones for those looking to have arrangements that are unique and show worthy.

Cheap flowers vs expensive flowers

When it comes to making unique arrangements for my clients, where the flowers come from makes all the difference. I work with expensive flowers that aren’t local and come all the way from Holland. These flowers are exquisite to the art of wearable arrangements as the live 2 to 4 weeks and won’t be like anything anyone can find locally. The flowers that live on local stores only last around 2 days. The reason for this? These flowers actually stay on farms for a long time and those same farms sell the cheaper flowers to be shipped off. Some companies buy them on sale to save money and make more of a profit without thinking of the client first. As my arrangements need to last longer, I purchase from proven farms that send fresh flowers with a longer life spam. These flowers are unique and not at all standard, creating fashion pieces that truly make a statement. And what’s more, one can be sure there won’t be any other like it!

Cheap flowers vs expensive flowers

The variety of my flower collection is important for the like and choosing of my clients. Different tones and colors are needed to match the individual customer’s complexion, hair color, etc. I want to make sure the flower arrangements compliment all of my clients and highlight their natural beauty. My selection is grand in colors in comparison to other bundles. This makes it possible to create different and unique pieces that aren’t ever the same. With cheaper flowers one gets only small bundles with very little variety to choose from. And this is something that does not work to create high quality expensive wearable pieces. When selecting flowers, keep in mind where it is they are coming from, their life spam, bundle size, and uniqueness. Always ask yourself if they are really worth the money or if more expensive flowers is truly the better choice. Remember, fashion is about the product, and so should flowers be.
