Fashion and art walk a line of creativity and uniqueness, seeking to portray what is already beautiful in a rather different way. The art of wearable flowers puts together the delicate and vibrant beauty of flowers with the extravagant courage of fashion; creating a look to admire. While both mediums have been sought after for years, the two had not been put together like this before. As a decorator and florist, I love creating designs that are not only visually stunning but can also be worn like any other accessory. I have created simple pieces that can be worn for everyday occasions, as well as full wearable fashion statement pieces that make for stunning images and portraits. The process is all about my clients and what they are looking for in terms of taste and occasion. My goal is to provide them with wearable flower accessories that are unique and made to suit their individual style.

The idea behind wearable flowers is to step outside of the norm and provide a service that is unlike any other. While artists seek to paint a picture, wearable flowers turn the person into a work of art. The pieces tend to last between two to four weeks to give the clients enough time to use them for any special occasion and/or event. Accessories such as neck pieces, earrings, rings, and bracelets can be purchased and worn at the buyer’s leisure. Other times I work instead to create pieces for special photo sessions where the flowers are applied piece by piece to better accommodate the client and the creation that we envisioned. These looks tend to be bigger in scale and are for one time use and special occasions. Whatever the product may be, the art of wearable flowers portrays beauty in its natural form by using natural earth-based products to make fashion accessories.
